1. WSJ.com editors will send one email every Friday at noon ET or shortly thereafter, with the week's five questions.

2. Speed is the name of the game: The WSJ.com Newshound of the Week will be the first person from whom WSJ.com editors receive a response specifying the correct answers to all five questions.

3. After the winner is known, the week's questions and answers will be published at the Newshound Quiz page,

4. The winner will be contacted by the Tuesday after the competition and will need to send name and mailing adress to WSJ.com editors. Failure to respond means you forfeit. Your prize: a Newshound T-shirt. The winner's name (only name, not mail or email addresses) will be published on WSJ.com and included in the following week's quiz email, for further bragging rights. If you don't wish your name made public, consider playing without emailing your answers to editors.
